I know I am as confused as you are. It is so rare for our small community to get into an idea that makes sense on many levels, but hey it happens. My hometown of Visalia has a new program that refurbishes donated bicycles (this is done by inmates at Corcoran State Prison) and sells them for 25 dollars to local business owners. Originally meant to target the downtown Visalia area business owners, the program expanded to include all businesses in Visalia. The bikes appear to be of the cheapish mountain bike persuasion and they all have a fresh coat of bright green paint, emblazoned with the words ” Vi Cycle” in white on the top tube. Vi Cycle being the combination Visalia and bicycle, I can’t decide if it is cute or lame, regardless it is a greener way to get around V-town.
