Well one week ago we started our second day of riding. It was a short 27 mile stroll, a welcomed break from the grueling 74 miles we rode on the first day. This leg of the trip took us from Fall River Mills to Hat Creek. The roads were nicely paved, the weather was great, and the scenery was awesome. We had to deal with very few cars. I would love to ride this course on a regular basis. It has it all climbing, fast descents, and flat roads toward the end which aids recovery. We had a great day, and best of all at the end of it we got the chance to spend the night in a yurt. The night was a little cold but it was a wonderful experience.  Towns we saw that day were: Fall River Mills, Cassel and Hat Creek.

During the ride we even got a view of Mt. Shasta.

Zac and Roger enjoying the a nice easy ride

Roger shows off at our rest stop after a good climb. Candice takes great care of all of us.

Two random pics: A 1932 Dodge truck I came across. And a picture Candice took of a guy who looks like he is going hunting but also has a bag of golf clubs on his back.

Me at the entrance of the yurt. I was excited to spend a night in a yurt, can you tell?
