So I’m taking a few days off my bike while it gets checked out and partially fixed at Rubber Soul.

Yesterday I paid respect to the Automobile gods and changed the gear oil in the front and rear axles in my Dakota. I put in Synthetic Mobil 1. My baby deserves it.

So for now I’m driving for the sole purpose of Bicycle transport. It is supposed to be ready this afternoon for me to pick up. They are putting a new chain on it also.

In the spirit of Le Tour De France the “Peloton” of snails in my front yard were in a hearty battle to the finish. The brave soul on the right was really “Digging into his suitcase of courage!” It was a flat stage, really set up right for the sprinters.
