So today after work I waited a little while then went out to Woodward park. I wanted to do some intervals, actually I really wanted to just go as fast as I could and just sweat my ass off. In the end thats pretty much what I did.
Sprinting is pure carnal energy, you are pulling and pushing with everything you have in hopes of going faster and faster. I find the harder I push and the more I sweat the better I feel. So I rode around the park as fast I could for as long as possible, then I would slow down and bring my heart rate back down…rinse and repeat. Today though I was able to reach 30 mph on flat ground, but boy did it hurt
. No matter how much pain I experience on the bike it never drives me away.

Giving the bike a little break…it looked out of breath
.

One thing I try to remember is you have to stop and smell the roses every once and awhile. The beauty of cycling is that you do see more and experience more on the bike then if you were to drive. Though when you get in the zone, don’t forget to look around every once in awhile.
So keep on riding and enjoy the experience
