This is not the Fresno I know.

Well, the minor rain and crappy hot wind is though.

Check out these clouds from yesterday afternoon:

They actually had a little rain in them. Wierd…..

My sweaty bike commuter back was begging for a rear frame rack
so I paid a visit to Cycle Path Bicycles to look for a solution.
Their general awesomeness paid off when I found a Sun-Lite rear trunk
bag and a really snazzy rack with adjustable mounts and some pretty
decent hardware.

Here it is on the way home on my handlebars:

And then mounted and commuting already being awesome:

No Sweaty back and better balance than with the chrome bag. I will
Still use the chrome bag in the winter, or when I know it will rain, or when
I feel like it. I carried a pair of converse, my U-Lock, my wallet, a banana, my nalgene bottle, and a granola bar in the bag. A full wordrobe might be a little tight but the side pockets fold out to become mini panniers, so rock on.

I also saw a guy commuting on a Fixed Gear this morning!

I think it was a Bianchi San Jose? The rack near the door in Cycle Path was mysteriously empty yesterday where a Bianchi had been. Hmmm

I hope he doesn’t mind me posting pictures of him.

I have been seeing alot more bike commuters on my route in the last two weeks.
The dudes at Cycle Path said that they have been selling at least one bike per day to
people looking to Bike2Work. I’m excited.

Don’t stop pedaling, actually you should start if you have not already. C’mon everybody is doing it.
