Bike commuting daily in the place of low intensity, high frequency exercise is one of the best ways to get your 30 minutes of daily recommended exercise. You already drive your car and waste 10-40 minutes commuting, you might as well ride your bike.

I saw two guys this morning crossing Cedar avenue in front of me. I wasn’t fast enough with the camera but I got a good look at them.

-One was riding a whitish road bike with a backpack… He will regret that when he gets to work…..

-The other was riding a red road bike with white lettering and he had panniers over the rear wheel. They were about 10 bike lengths apart suggesting that they were happenstance commuting comrades that met due to scheduling coincidence. Or they were buddies and one guy carried the baguettes and bidons full of vino, while the other carried the tire levers and spare parts….. JOKE anyway

This time of year I get a little sad that I will not be going to the Tour De France this year. As suspected by the previous statement, that was maybe one of the coolest events I have ever been to.  The French are super weird but very nostalgic at the same time.

Anyway here is a shot I took by accident out of my pocket:

Pedal more than you do now, you wont regret it.
