AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA 3.0

Yesterday in Modesto Don and I waited at the door of the team Quick-Step
bus for about 30 minutes for Paolo Bettini and Tom Boonen to come out for
an autograph.

I finally got my Tour De France 2007 green sprinters
jersey signed by the winner, Tom Boonen.

And my helmet made an appearance on Cyclingnews.com in the background
of a shot of Paolo Bettini’s back-up bike.

^Look at the bottom left corner for the red white and black Bell helmet.
Yep thats me!

Congrats on the Boonen autograph. That’s sweet! I’ve passed on the TOC so far and this year I’m really kickin myself for it. Everyone’s been telling me of the amazing access that you get to the riders, and Bobke. Next year I think I’ll take the week off and follow the race.
