I overslept this morning and left for work at 7:20 instead of 6:30 as usual. The amount of people on the roads was sickening. I had to unleash some vigilante justice on a young dad in a small car. He whipped into the bike lane right in front of me and blocked my path, forcing me to ride way out in the traffic lane to avoid him. I knocked on his fogged windows as I rode by looking back and pointing at the bike lane with a general look of disappointment and annoyance.

And yesterday my computer at work decided to murder 5 hours of CADD work I was almost finished with. On the way home on my bike a Large and Unnatractive woman in a Lexus Shoe/SUV decided to U-turn into my direction of travel and then cut me off at the last available second to turn right when I was going straight at a red light. WTF I was almost right hooked in the middle of a block!

Good news today though I was able to finish my drawings for work and actually save them on the server and onto my daily backup flashdrive. Whew. I shall now brave the mean streets of Fresno to get home. I was thinking about stopping into Cycle Path to look at U-locks, the weaponish ones. I’m feeling especially vigilante-like today.
