It was ridiculously foggy this morning……
I saw another bike commuter at the intersection of Alluvial and First street, he was going south on First street. Seeing another biker/commuter in the morning fog is like seeing another BigFoot in the forest, rare indeed.
Friday we went on a quick afternoon sunset ride.

Saturday Don and I went on a “training/fun/excuse to go get some high class lunch ride.”
The weather was nice and the middle aged folks on their tandem divor-cycles were out in large numbers.
The Amgen Tour of California is coming up in a few weeks and I will be there to get some pictures of some bike pros.

My friend Dennis and I are planning to be in Cambria on Thursday (there’s a nice spot on a little hill there we like), Solvang Fri, and the Santa Clarita on Sat. We usually ride around a while on our bikes and then find a good spot to watch them go by.

I usually go to the finish in San Luis and to Solvang to watch the riders finish and to check out the festivities. Myself, Don, My Dad and My Nephew Brandon will be there. Look for the motley crew of wannabe bike racers and fixed gear freaks.
I will be sporting my Discovery Team cap in protest of their demise.

I was slack during those 2 weeks it rained a lot and I drove almost every day.
But, I’m back now. This is my 3rd day in a row of riding this week (out of 4). And today looks beautiful right now (60 degrees and sunny)! Hope to see you out there on my way home.
