My morning commute was pleasant. I left 10 minutes later than usual and therefore had 10 times more cars to deal with but nothing major happened. I was also extra toasty because I wore some new age long johns under my jeans. I turned my headlight off halfway due to theĀ  morning light. Birds were chirping for the first time in awhile signaling to roadies like me that its time to ride more hills.
In the words of Dave Zabriskie, Professional ProTour Bike Racer:
“Go as fast as you can, faster than that.”

In other news I discovered why aluminum commuter bikes are awesome……

When they get nasty dirty from commuting, alleycats and general riding in the rain,
YOU CAN HOSE THEM OFF. No rust no corrosion, awesome.
